Creatives Want Change Offering Scholarships for Black Design Students

Creatives Want Change, founded by Randy Cousin, Joe Medved, and Matthew Kane, is helping Black high school students pursue their dreams in fashion design. The organization will sponsor summer programs at elite design schools including: Fashion Institute of Technology, Academy of Art University, Parsons School of Design, and more.

“As a Black creative, I often say to people that I’m a unicorn. I did not know that this industry existed,” Cousin said in a promotional video for CWC. “We can give [students] the opportunities that exist, but go relatively unknown to kids of color, specifically Black kids.”
